2012 Formula Drift Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV (Py) - Formula Drift, After Dark Round 6, was held in Las Vegas Motor Speedway, in the notoriously hot Las Vegas weather, combined with temporary monsoon heavy rain, with an icing of a rainbow... The competitions were fierce, that many drivers took higher risks (intentionally or unintentionally) and ended up either with trophies or walked home with a lost wheel... The past winners were not immune from early elimination in the qualifying 16 round either. Brutal!

With all the smokes cleared and tire marks imprinted, came the winner, Ryhs Millen in the RMR / Hankook Hyundai Genesis Coupe in the first place in Round 6 and thus the team moves up to third place in the overall points standings, following the 1st place Gittin Jr., Vaughn Monster Energy / Falken Ford Mustang and 2nd place, Daito, Daigo, Achilles Tire / Bridges Racing Lexus SC430.

As for the final round, it seems pretty firm that it will be at the Irwindale Speedway! Even after the Speedway has been through a tough time of bankrupt and closure, it's totally awesome of Formula Drift to come back here and show the support from the drifting community!!
