Under the dramatic sky and breezy Spring wind, 8th Annual Greystone Mansion Concours d'Elegance showcased some of the top vintage and classic cars with finest craftsmanship on restoration. From our past coverage, the show has been established the high premier status of the show series. With the backdrop of the grand castle of the American style, the show commended high attention and great interests to classic car preservation.
Across the show venue, you would find the familiar categories of eras that spans almost 100 years of car history. From the Ford Model T to pre WWI to post WWII, and booming of the 70's and 80's cars. These are not just well preserved cars. They are gems of the best of the best in each segment of the car genealogy.
During the event, various guest speakers gave insightful as well as interesting talks from car history to contemporary classic car dealing. From the panel interview with the Wheeler Dealer expert hosts Ed China and Mike Brewer chatting with MC Dave Kunz, we learned quite a few pointers about classic car ownership and dealing. They include car ownership being an investment, amateur entry point, buying the best car you can afford, as well as preserving the stories behind the cars. They are simply fascinating, especially with their British accent and expertise.Overall, this is another year of amazing cars and wonderful hosting and great talk, plus a window to the world of classic and vintage and grand. We totally look forward to going back next year!
