Even the day one's competitions were very competitive. Drivers put out their best foot forward literally and skillfully maneuvered their ways around the track to get those high points. It seemed that they put in their effort more than 100%. Besides lots of smoke, there were situations such as rear bumpers bump into the K rails and lost bumpers along the way or the engine blew up on the way to the track, or spin out or knocked a pylon or two down,... All of these showed that the efforts and the drive these racers were exerting to achieve the top pool to qualify for tomorrow's round 1 competitions
We also witnessed the elegance drifting talents and skills on more experienced drivers. James Deane has deftly maneuvered by the clip points, concrete K-rails, as well as the tricky pylons and still maintained his composure and calmness. That was a sight to behold of.
Drifting Car Pit and Garage
One of the best ways to get close to the monstrous machinery that propelled these amazing drifting actions is to inspect those vehicles up close in person. Here you can see all the drifting competition cars in their natural habitats to be tuned, repaired, hacked, and decorated. It's a sight to see and a excitement to extract from.Vendor Rows and Show Cars
The vendors at the lifestyle expo area are one of the great attractions at the Formula Drift event. There were many experts and deep knowledgeable people ready to talk with you and help you with your problems or dream parts. There was even a real F-16 firefighter from the Air Force in presence. How cool is that?!
We are looking forward to tomorrow's Round 1 competition and championship!
