Progressive International Motorcycle Show Long Beach 2015 Highlights @motorcycleshows

Highlights of Motorcycles and Models at Progressive International Motorcycle Shows Long Beach 2015

Long Beach, CA / W&HM Staff
To say the least that this is the biggest motorcycle show in the southern California region, Progressive International Motorcycle Show (IMS) Long Beach is the one that motorcycle enthusiasts and communities to gather and directly connect to the manufacturers.  IMS 2015 Long Beach is geared to be a fun, informational, and first-hands-on experience for many bike lovers and their families to spend a good day at the Long Beach Convention Center.

All the major motorcycle manufacturers have their prominent presence at various spots in the convention hall.  The hall was filled end to end with all the shiny and sleek displays of their latest and greatest and most popular as well as some conceptual motorcycles in display.

This year, we see a lot of reaching-to-new-consumer styles of entry level motorcycles at the show.  The key is to encourage more young and future motorcycle drivers to join the community.

We also heard some really impressive and inspiring stories from bike owners, including Terry Borden from AdventureTrio.com, who traveled up and down the America (especially in south America) on his BMW motorcyce together with his wife and his son.  Definitely check out their web site to see all the fun adventures that they have embarked.  We will have more detailed recounts from him later in a future article of the IMS 2015 coverage.

Many motorcycles are brand new models or upgrades that the general public cannot order yet. That also includes accessories and gears.  Arai's latest helmet (shown below) is one of the lightest helmets that we have lifted and it's definitely very good good for rider's delicate necks.  These will be available soon for the holiday we heard.

Overall, Progressive International Motorcycle Show Long Beach 2015 has a great start and many motorcycles and gears to see and touch.  Definitely it's a great weekend spending time for the motorcycle lovers and families alike!

Hollywood, Anime, and Steampunk Jazz Up LA Autoshow 2015 @LAAutoShow

Imaginations of Hollywood, Anime, and Steampunk Trimmed Up LA Autoshow 2015 Fanciful Cars

Los Angeles, CA / Py Pai

After many exhausting press conferences of new car debuts and innovative concepts introduced, it's refreshing to see some of the ingenious fun cars being displayed at the LA Autoshow 2015.

There is plenty of media coverage of all the new cars and next year's upgrades in the news.  We decided to eat the dessert first before the main course.  Here we are introducing the fun-size and cool-tech futuristic rides, or retro nostalgia, that drew imaginations from Hollywood, anime as well as steampunk, at this year's LA Autoshow.

International car manufacturers turned out to have more fun in this aspect of the car line up than the domestic American big brothers.  Fiat has a 500e "Stormtrooper" concept car at the back of their display space.  then Toyota really hit it big with the "Back to The Future" Mirai that looks super futuristic.  However, being Japanese, Toyota augmented the word "futuristic" with their tint of anime culture influence.  Their single-person single-person car, i-ROAD, is a fully functional almost miniature car compared to the other day-to-day cars that they display at the show.
Then at the Aftermarket hall, someone brought in the steampunk style shiny chrome cars that conjures the good old fashion of the impossible dream cars.
Check them out in more details in the full article here...

Big Highlight of LA Autoshow 2015 @LAAutoShow

The First Highlight of Brand New Cars, Cool Cars and One of a Kind Cars in LA Autoshow 2015

Los Angeles, CA / Py Pai
This year's LA Autoshow is an exciting event.  Even though there were not a slew of debuts of new models at the show, there were plenty interesting cars that would make you feel that you want a new car next year!

There were several themes of cars that showcased in this year's LA Autoshow.  One of them is electrical vehicles.  Even though the leading runner of this car technology, namely Tesla, is not here in the LA Autoshow this year, there were many electrical cars that were introduced, or highlighted at the show.  This reflects the market desire of greener and less-petro consumption at the consumer's minds.  Audi introduced the line of e-tron series at the show and gathered a lot of interests.  Mainly it's one of the few luxury European brands that offer this technologies to the market.

Alfa Romeo has greatly expanded their display space and brought in several retro and new cars for their show space.  The sheer beauty of those retro classic cars would conjure one's yearning for more humanistic designs than today's engineering driven curves and lines.

Besides the bread and butter car models, there were many showy concept cars as well as unique race cars in display at the show.  These cars are like the rocketeer suites for a fanciful teenage boys in the 50's.  It's a wow moment for adults at the car show, wondering when we can get those cars in our garages.  One of them is a small package of single seater, Toyota i-ROAD, that sure can fit into today's urban lifestyles.  With the increasing population densities in various metropolitan cities, this could definitely be the envy of one's neighbors.

In the aftermarket hall, even though many were still setting their booths, you can already see a lot hot cars, like really unique hot cars.  One of them is the Savini's 3d-printed wrap of a GTR in the back of the aftermarket section.  "Do Not Touch" sign still did not persuade a lot of people to reach out and touch that one-of-the-kind car skins.

Overall, this year's LA Autoshow has been a fun and great success.  After the first day press conference chairs removed, there will be a lot more cars showing on the floor.  We can predict that it will be a great time for anyone to go to the show, either learn something, or making their minds of buying something.

Here is a big summary pictorial highlight of the press day one coverage.  More to come in the future!

Most Impressive Wheels Companies, FondMetal, Motiv, Center Line Wheels at SEMA 2015 Show

Las Vegas, NV / Py Pai
There were many wheel companies in the South Hall of SEMA 2015.  However, a true gem is actually outside the gigantic hall, shining bright and strong, literally.  Fondmetal, Motiv, Center Line and Gear wheels were right at the side of Performance Pavilion showroom by the South Hall.

The cul de sac corner space gave these companies a wonderful chance to show case their products in a very cozy and immersive manner.  Attendees were feeling at ease and welcomed by the set up as well as the great personnel that they had there.

It did not come as easy as it seemed on the contrary.  The original allocation of the space was spread out near by the drive way and streets of the front door of SEMA.  With brilliant team recognized the problem of security and marketing challenges, they worked it out with the show organizer and got this wonderful lot for the grand display of their wheels, cars, and team.

We totally salute to the great team that saw the difficult situations, mitigated the risks and shined at the final set up.  That's one of the essence of a great team!  Our hats off to the team all!

Here is a quick recap of the three wheels display that we captured during our multiple visits.

BTW, they had the one of the best of the show promotional team at the event.  We could not thank them enough for giving us the exclusive access for the coverage opportunities.  They totally rock!

wheelsandheelsmag.com / Las Vegas, NV / W&HM

Many of the show cars at the SEMA 2015 were invited to the show to attract the attendees to come to the display space.  There are obvious radical designs and works done to these cars, that spell the artistry of the customization culture all around the country.  It's an honor to be invited to the show this  year, especially the show car space was reduced to accommodate the ever growing vendors to the show, which is a good thing.  This made these vintage show cars even more precious and more demanding.

The hot rod culture is prevailing all around the country.  From the deep Americana revisions to the west coast unconventional designs.  Many showed their owner's inclinations of modification aesthetics and powerful showing of their hard work.  Here is one example from Premier Performance Products Distributor that truly made us stopped and looked and checked it out in and out...
